We left from Tetouan across the boarder with no problems. When we got back to Spain we took a bus back to La Linea, which was the town right next to Gibraltar. From the border We took a bus to the gondola to take us to the top of the mountain.

Walking out of customs |
We got of the gondola and saw a handful of monkeys right away. The Barbary Macaques occupy the upper rock. There are currently an estimated 230 monkeys living on the rock. This is the only place on the European continent where these monkeys live. Most live in Northern Africa.

We got to an overlook where a few monkeys were. We had some extra luggage with us from the stuff we purchased in Morocco. I set my bag down and a monkey immediately hopped down and tried opening it. Every time I tried to get near him he would pinch up his face make the "o" face and hoot. We finally got our bags back and walked around the rock for a bit.

Ingy had an interesting time with the monkeys. One of them hopped on her bag and tried getting into any pocket it could.

Hitchhiking |
We hiked around the rock for a while and took the last cable ride down. We had to get back to La Linea and take a 45 minute bus ride to Algeciras Spain. From there we took a 3 hour bus ride back to Sevilla. We got into our place around midnight.
